Star Wars: The Force Awakens…and it’s almost with us
Star Wars fandom is erupting continually on Fanpage.com!
Pandemonium. That is the only word that comes to mind when thinking of what the streets will be like as we near December 18. What is the significance of this date?
Well, if you are not a die-hard fan of the Star Wars space opera, then maybe you wouldn’t know. That, or you’ve been living under a rock the past few months and haven’t heard all the buzz about the new installment of the world famous sci-fi adventure, which is scheduled to premier in L.A. on December 14, and open in U.S. theaters the 18th.
That’s right my young padawans, patience you must have – but not for too much longer.
Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens is said to have had an estimated budget of $200 million and the head honchos are conjecturing the film to earn around $540 million worldwide at its opening. That’s a lot of popcorn and peanuts.
What should make the American stir-crazed fans all the more frothy at the mouth, is the execs have decided to open the film (after its initial premier in Los Angeles), in European theaters prior to the United States’. But don’t get too upset – after all, anger leads to hate and in a roundabout way to the dark side. Or something like that.
There is little doubt that fans will be lining up in drones – I mean, eh hem, droves, to see the new galaxy pic.
